Description

This low level function shall ensure administrative operations relating to the handling of goods movements. In this respect, it shall be responsible for drawing up a contract with the principal, carriers, transport infrastructure managers and hub and warehouse managers involved in goods movements. As soon as the contract with the principal has been established, this function shall trigger goods movement operations by issuing a goods movement order to function 8.1.2.2.
This function shall issue invoices to principals and process their payments. When it receives an invoice from a carrier,  transport infrastructure manager, intermodal hub manager or warehouse manager, it shall engage settlement actions.
